Shishito Peppers are a small, slender, and wrinkly green pepper from Japan, beloved for their unique flavor and a bit of culinary roulette. Most are mild and sweet with a hint of citrus, but about one in ten will surprise you with a mild kick of heat. They are fantastic when blistered in a hot pan with a bit of oil and salt, or grilled on skewers. A perfect and exciting appetizer or side dish.
