Grown only in the high altitudes of the Dieng Plateau, this unique papaya is smaller and has a different shape than common varieties. Its flesh is tangy and very aromatic, primarily used not for fresh eating, but for making premium syrups, jams, and a famous local candied fruit preserve. A true regional specialty.
